wonderful store‎
I have been going to this store for 10 yrs now. The staff is excellent Mr. Munter is always a great help if you have any questions. Their guitar strings are always 1/2 off which is a deal that nowhere else in San Antonio can beat. Even if I lived by San Pedro 410 and the Boot Mall I would still come to this alamo for their staff and display of beautiful acoustic pianos and guitars. They have a really nice room for your percussion needs. There is also a really nice selection of electric guitars. Unfortunately their electric bass selection pales in comparison but they still have some nice basses and clean amps. This is where i tell my students to go, and where I take people lookingfor their next instrument. -Gerald L.‎

Great people‎
I have dealt with the staff at Alamo Music Babcock for over 13 years and have purchased everything from a grand piano to guitar picks. It is the trust I place in the people that work there that makes me a faithful customer. If good salesmanship is defined by accurate, honest advice and great service then Maurice, Tommy, Rodney, and Deano are the best in the world. Instruments can be purchased anywhere but these guys are the reason I buy at Alamo Music.‎

"A warm & friendly shopping...‎
A Warm & Friendly Shopping Experience! This past fall I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova from Alamo Music Center at Babcock and have been smiling ever since! (I still smile when I sit down and play on my clavinova. It's pure piano bliss). Our salesman was professional in every sense of the word--knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He showed us the benefits of owning a Clavinova (which sounds exactly like a piano) when compared to a traditional piano. For instance, the ability to play a clavinova in privacy with headphones was an extremely useful feature for our busy household. Plus the built-in karaoke, rhythm sections, and cool sounds of the Clavinova are what finally sold us on it (since we have a few singers in our family). Finally, their 'in house' financing was extremely helpful as my credit wasn't good enough to go the traditional route. (Then again, who has perfect credit these days?) Their selection of Taylor guitars was very tempting as well since my son ...
