After visiting numerous centers around San Antonio, I was blown away at the friendliness and professionalism of Kids R Kids on Bitters. The center is always clean and the staff helpful and supportive with an obvious love for the children they teach. My son (2 1/2yrs) has been at Kids R Kids exclusively since he was 6 months old. I am always surprised at being greeted daily by name myself, but amazed when every teacher we pass greets my son by name as well (even the ones he’s never had). He is an accelerated learner and the curriculum at Kids R Kids keeps him involved and learning every day. Every morning he tells me to “Hurry mommy, I have to get to school”. When I pick him up, he tells me of the various learning activities he participated in during the day, and even when he gets put in “thinking time” (and what he did wrong and how he won’t do it again!). The easiest part of my day is dropping him off every morning knowing he will be well cared for, well taught, and kept safe until he’s back in my arms. Our second son is on his way now, and I will be bringing him to Kids R Kids when I return to work. Kids R Kids on Bitters makes you feel like family, and I recommend it to anyone who wants their child to have the best of a supportive day care and a progressive learning center.

Let me first start by saying when I read the other reviews my mouth dropped. My chilldren have been attending this school for over a year and couldn't be happier. My kids are now 2 and 3 and the teachers are loving and give the kids structure as well teaching them. My daughter was going on 1 1/2 and everyday was going over her abc, numbers, colors and shapes. Every month I can see the progress they would make. I had a very hard time puttig them in daycare and went to many other daycares before chosing this one. My 2 main reasons were the ratio of kids to teacher was so low compared to all the other daycares and second my kids had been so welcome they didn't want to leave from the tour.

The front desk staff is horrible. It is not a pleasant atmosphere. They are only interested in money. Don't know that customer comes first in business. Especially when doing a noble business like taking care of priceless children, they ought to be responsible and loving. Too much to expect from this terrible day care.

The front management staff is AMAZING and all are very well educated and experienced in the day care industry. My understanding is that they're all new and they've done wonderful things with the Kids R Kids on Bitters. They're pleasant and ensuring that all of the teachers are well qualified to work with the children. I make a 30 minute drive everyday to have my son in this center. His teachers are absoluately amazing and are working with him to ensure that he stays developmentally ahead. I've met with the Regional Director and Owner and they too, are pleasant and always make themselves available for conferences. I am very pleased and will continue to bring my son here until he starts Kinder. The Director and Assistand Director always make time for the parents and are always willing to take a break from their busy schedules to interact with the children and parents. If there is ever a concern with my account they always address it and follow up promptly. Looking forward to more positive growth.

The owners are unexperienced in education. The Regional Director is not experienced in education. The teachers are not qualified like it says on the website. Horrible experience. I had to pull my children, because they started to dislike school. Staff in front can be friendly, but my children are there to learn and that never happened. Owner and Regional Director are irresponsible and unqualified.
