La Fiesta #16 by Charles L. at InsiderPages
This store needs better management and training of their employees on how to greet and treat people. I was just there today and it happened again that the computers were down. That is not the problem as I know that is inevitable. However, my last few visits there, I have found that none of the cashiers know how to smile at the customer, never express a pleasant greeting and ask if I found everything I needed. I even saw a cashier argue with a customer once and call her names in front of other customers. This is poor, poor treatment of customers, even if the customer is wrong. I spent over 25 years in customer service and know when customers are not being treated with care. And when the computers are down nobody, absolutely nobody had the courtesy to apologize for the problem. They all just stand there looking like zombies. You would think that the cashiers would be trained to look at the customers in line and with a smile and pleasant tone express regret at the delay. Somebody could at least have come out and immediately explained that there is a problem and are trying to rectify it as quick as possible and apologize. But did they? No,,,, and as I said this is NOT the first time that it has happened and nobody apologized that time. They just said in a cold tone that I had to either use cash or write a check which I had neither. Nothing like Gosh, I'm sorry but we have problems with our computers. We can only accept cash or a check at the moment. I'm truly sorry. I go there because at times they have good sales with meat, but to have to put up with rude cashiers? I have yet to hear from a cashier,Thank you for shopping at La Fiesta. Or even a Good bye with a smile in their voice. I swear, I will never go to La Fiesta again. I find more courtesy at WWF.
