I am a licensed Early Childhood Educator who has been teaching for several years. Upon moving to San Antonio, I subbed for this center once and will never return. Once the parents leave, the children are not well supervised, or disciplined. I was appalled to hear the way the teachers talked to the children. They were impatient and often unkind. The teachers seemed to be more interested in talking on their cell phones during class hours! I have worked in high quality and affordable daycare centers throughout my career. Trust me, if they have had the same teachers for the last year or longer, do not send your child here. If they hire high quality, educated, licensed, and trained teachers this center might become successful. The facility is a great place for a daycare but the teachers need improvement.

What a great place for my son ... I would and DO highly recommend Nurturing Hearts Early Learning Center.

After reading the negative review I felt like I had to say something- I have 2 boys in this D.C and have never had any problems with them, I truley love them... I can also tell you the director is all about the kids and she puts them first and would never tolerate behavior like that! Here is what I wanted to write originally-
Ive tried the home sitters, the registered home d.c the big daycares, and i have never felt as comfortable as I do with Nurturing Hearts as I have with anyone else! The teachers are awesome, and my sons love it there, i have a 4 yr and a 20 mth old... both have been there since they were small... and im telling you i dont regret it for a second! I love the fact that i can see them online, I can call them when im out of town for work and hear their voices and the teachers keep me up to date on their daily activities!! Even if im away I know they are being taken care of...another thing im big on is you can tell if its a clean facility by the smell... and every time i go in it doesnt matter when it is IT ALWAYS SMELLS GOOD AND CLEAN!!! Thank you Nurturing Hearts for all that you do!!

We had our son there and he hated it. The staff did not seem to have a genuine love for children. I walked in and heard one of the workers asking an infant what her problem was! She then preceded to tell her that she just wanted to be held and too bad because she wasn't going to hold her. So again, if you have a child there, drop in! The cameras are ok, but you can't hear what they are telling your child. I also had to call multiple times after seeing how the "teacher" was interacting with my son. Pulling him out of there was the best thing I could have done.

The staff here are amazing. They are very caring and helpful. They take the time to get to know your child and they make you feel comfortable and confident when you leave your child with them. I recommend Nurturing Hearts to all my frieds and anyone I meet with children.
