I’ve had horrible experiences in the past with general practitioners/family practitioners. When I moved to San Antonio last year my mother recommended Dr. Ramirez, as she’s been seeing him for years. From my first visit with Dr. Ramirez, I knew that I had finally found a doctor who really cared about me and my health. He displays a great balance of professionalism and warmth, and I truly feel like we’re in a partnership in terms of my health. The staff at Stone Oak Family Practice is also fabulous, and I’ve never been treated with anything other than respect and warmth in my dealings with them. I’m always able to get appointments in a timely manner, and I’ve rarely waited more than half an hour to see Dr. Ramirez. This is a nice change from the two hours I normally wait to see my son’s pediatrician. I’ve even been able to convince my doctor-phobic husband to see Dr. Ramirez, and he’s now a huge Dr. Ramirez fan, too. I can’t say enough about this wonderful doctor!

I've been seeing Dr. Ramirez for over a year now and he is definitely one of the best doctors I've seen in a long time. He's thorough, caring, and his staff reflects that as well. Both he and his staff are quick to respond to my questions (within 24 hours), and the doctor even cares enough to give out his own cell phone number to patients...and answers it! Definite recommendation!

I've been searching for a family doctor in the Stone Oak area for some time. Dr. Ramirez and staff were all pleasant, professional and punctual. I was able to get an appointment the next day for my sons and they too were very pleased with the visit. One of the most common and unprofessional occurances in many doctors offices is to have to sit in a waiting room for a rediculous amount of time. Dr. Ramirez was busy, as I would expect a good doctor to be, but our wait was short and he took ample time with us. How refreshing to not spend half a day "waiting" when visiting a doctor. I have already recommended him to my mother, so it doesn' get much better than that.

I've been seeing Dr. Ramirez for seven years. I have always found him to be a very compassionate, caring and understanding man. I would recommend (and I have) Dr. Ramirez to anyone seeking an excellent Doctor. The office has always been immediate in answering my questions and they are quick to schedule appointments for any and every emergency.
