I recently contacted Tech 1 Irrigation to check my sprinkler system. I had a section of my front yard that was not getting watered when my sprinkler system ran. I checked the settings to see what time it was scheduled to run and the stations that were included in the programmed cycle. All of the scheduled programming was correct. At this point I was lost.
After doing a search on MOJO for sprinkler repair. Several irrigation companies came up. How do you know which one to choose? I really didn't know which one to choose. I have never had a problem with my sprinkler system. I just chose the one that stood out the most. Not by reviews or by referral. Simply by the company name. I thought to myself, I have a problem with my sprinkler that needs repaired and as I scrolled down the list reading the company names. I read Tech 1 Irrigation and it just seemed to say it all. Tech is short for technician. Meaning a person who does repairs. 1 seemed to represent 1 tech to me. Which is just what I needed. Irrigation is what I had and it was in need of repair. Seemed to be a no brainer!
Boy was I wrong! Let me tell you this much. In my past experiences dealing with contractors. Most weren't very pleasant and I had to fight with them just to get them to show up. I quickly realized that the 1 had to stand for number 1 in service. They did everything they said they were going to do. They gave me a date and approximate time of arrival. Between 10am and 12pm on Tuesday. With a phone call 1 hour prior to arrival. I thought to myself Yeah Right!
Tuesday morning I'm up early getting the kids off to school, doing laundry, and cleaning up the house as usual when the phone rings. It is 11:00am. I answer the phone Hello? The voice on the other end says Ms. Reyes, my name is Jeff and I have a work order for sprinkler repair on your system that is scheduled between 10am and 12pm. I am on my way but running 15 mins behind schedule.
Jeff arrives and I show him to the controller in the garage. 20 mins later it was up and running!
