"Great place to take the kids"All kids need to go here with their parents or grandparents at least once; not just with the school field trips. Great anytime of the year, but even better when theirs a special exhibit. They also have a private ballroom for birthday party's. - not many people know about that. I definitely recommend
"the parking lot is having a rash of car break-ins. There is"the parking lot is having a rash of car break-ins. There is security there, but they seem to be lacking in getting this problem under control. The Witte is in a bad neighborhood, and the Witte needs to make their parking lot much safer for their guests. I am disappointed at how big the problem is and they don't seem to be much help in stopping it right now. There needs to be more safety...

"I love it"I went to the museum of repleys believe it or not it was great!! Omg it was. A great family attaraction well worth the price the only flaw was that you have to read alottt!! But nothing major ..
"Kinda Boring"Wax Museam was ok, but some of the figures did not look accurate at all. There is a shop inside the museam where they can take a picture of you and place it inside an astronaut, dancer, etc which was pretty neat. There is also a haunted wax area which is a good place to take a date too. The Believe it or not area was pretty boring though mostly reading plaques on a wall.... I would try...

"I went to the Chavez Ravine exhibit and really enjoyed it."I went to the Chavez Ravine exhibit and really enjoyed it. Although it was small it was very informative. Most of the pictures on the wall came from the book Chavez Ravine, 1949 A Los Angeles Story by Don Normark. It was also emotional for me because my paternal family was one of the many families that lived there. I enjoyed it so much we became members!

"A complete package"My favorite thing about the McNay is that a visit is a full experience, not just a trip to a museum. You enter the grounds through beautiful gardens, filled with modern sculptures and fountains. Most of the art work is housed inside the hacienda-style house, and the beauty of the ambient architecture adds to your appreciation of the many modern masters hanging on the wall. The curators do a...

"Awful !!!!"The worst museum I've ever visited, and I've seen a lot. It's tiny, has barely any decent objects, and woeful displays. Don't go, trust me.

"A Wonderful Walk by Brian P. at InsiderPages "I can't think of too many museums I enjoy in Austin more than the Umlauf Sculpture Gardens. The people that work there are wonderful and the sculptures are amazing. I did a film there and the woman that ran the place was extremely helpful, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting. They have over 130 sculptures from a Skater Statue resembling Peggy Fleming to a lyrical high concept...

"nice place, icky personnel"A well-trained chimp could have provided the "service" that the rentals person at Laguna Gloria did for my brother's commitment ceremony this spring: Show up to initial meeting 30 minutes late. Pull out approved vendor list and other photocopies. Make sure we know that we aren't going to be happy with our experience at Laguna Gloria unless we spend at least $20k, basically. Give stern,...

It is small, but filled to the brim with interesting information on people, places, and events of the oil boom in Luling. For anyone who is interested in the discovery of oil, the technology and its development, old books, work clothes, E.B. Davis, and more, this is worth the trip.

"Neill Cochran House of Museums by Richard C. at InsiderPages "This is a beautiful place. The house looks like something out of a novel. The price to get into the museum if very affordable and you will just absolutely love this place. They have so much stuff here from all different centuries. They keep it spotless clean and it is a great place to go and relax and spend a couple hours or more.
