"Great place to take the kids"All kids need to go here with their parents or grandparents at least once; not just with the school field trips. The Witte is in a bad neighborhood, and the Witte needs to make their parking lot much safer for their guests. "Kinda Boring"Wax Museam was ok, but some of the figures did not look accurate at all. There is a shop inside the museam where they can take a picture of you and place it inside an astronaut, dancer, etc which was pretty neat. There is also a haunted wax area which is a good place to take a date too. The Believe it or not area was pretty boring though mostly reading plaques on a wall.... I would try...

"I went to the Chavez Ravine exhibit and really enjoyed it."I went to the Chavez Ravine exhibit and really enjoyed it. Although it was small it was very informative. Most of the pictures on the wall came from the book Chavez Ravine, 1949 A Los Angeles Story by Don Normark. It was also emotional for me because my paternal family was one of the many families that lived there. I enjoyed it so much we became members!

"WOW"I recently visited San Antonio. This is a great place to take your family, it has it all. A wonderful museum and a great cafe! The museum is packed full of interesting Texas History and then we ate at the cafe and the food was wonderful. (I admit I was surprised.) THe waitess was on top of it the whole time. If you go to San ANtonio make time to visit the Buckhorn! You will enjoy it!
