We were commerating a high-profile anniversary and the bakery did an absolute marvelous job of placing QR codes on all the cookies; and they placed each cookie in its own container to protect the code. "great store"this store is just growing by leaps and bounds - the customer service is #1 from all the HEB's that i shop at - that includes anderson, palmer, 183 - i love the store - there are always electric carts available and that definately a ++ for me - i really like shopping here
i think the prices might be less expensive

"HEB on Lamar should be torn down and rebuilt."Store is cramped. Shelves are rarely stocked with items on sale. Mice run around in the produce. Aisles are crowded with welfare people and their children. Checkstands are nightmares. Employees are indifferent. It's definitely the worst store within 100 miles and has been for years. HEB seems to want to keep it that way because it's taking in lots of dollars and doing very little to earn...

"Great pharmacy with excellent staff"I can't believe I got my prescriptions filled at a national chain for so long. People's is friendly, helpful, and efficient and go above and beyond (like having a driver bring an Rx up from the south location so I could get it more quickly). It's hard to find service like that these days from the big chains with impersonal service and long lines and wait times.

"rude!!"what can I say had horrible service. Customer service rep was rude and snotty. If wasn't getting such a good price on my medicine I would drive to san marcos everyday, to avoid that kind of behavior.
