"Great room for the money!!"We recently stayed the weekend here for a family trip to Seaworld/Riverwalk/Alamo. Hotel was recently renovated (as in the last four rooms were finished the day before we got there) !! Nice new updates, clean, good location, (about 8 miles from mostly everything)!! Right next to Mamacitas and Benihana's!!! Will stay there again.

"Really nice place to stay by amygwen r. at InsiderPages "It's in a perfect location off of the highway, the only thing I was kind of upset about was that there wasn't shampoo or conditioner in the shower, which I should've realized the night before taking the shower. "This place is GREAT for hookers, drug addicts, bums"Upon arriving, 01DEC09, I couldn't believe the military would stoop this low to have US military personnel accomodate THIS location. The lobby is small and cramped, the parking lot was contaminate with litter. Entering the hotel room, is stunk like a meth-lab, the bathroom door was every bit shattered in half only hanging by it's hinges. A CRACK bag was left outside the front door of my room....

"Beware"I had a terrible experience at Suburban lodge. I blocked off about 9 rooms for a wedding and clearly stated who would be in each room and what day they would check in. However, that was too hard for the staff at Suburban Lodge to handle. By the time everyone was checked in two people were overcharged and two people hadn't been charged. Three weeks later, we're still trying to work it out...
