"A 'must visit' in Downtown"Basically, I like it. Great cocktails, great bartenders, and music that's not going to wreck a conversation. It's almost a legend on the RIverwalk, and I can see why. It's actually an amazingly tiny bar but seems to do everything so well that you don't notice. No food, no cigarette sales - just cigars, good drinks, and a good time.

"Been to better bars"Swigs is overrated. Full of obnoxious stuck up people and the service is lacking. Prices are way too high especially for a simple beer! Then again, if you have lots of money and like to while away your time with lots of plastic people who follow the most current trend then Swigs is your place along with all the other skanky bars along the riverwalk.

"Crappy"This place was terrible. The staff is very rude, and the music sucked. The drinks are too expensive. Again the staff were very rude and made the whole experience crappy over all. If you want to have fun, go down town. Better atmosphere, and nicer people. Then you can go to several places and party. Not a fun place at all.

"great music by Destiny T. at InsiderPages "I love dancing to the oldies (are they really oldies? Does that make me old???) "Great for Any Age"I think this is a great place to go for someone like me... I'm married with 2 kids, and find it hard to go to a bar where I can have fun. Howl is right up my alley!
